OmniMod for workstations at Kitch'n in Bryne, deployed in time for peak season Black Week.
Operators were losing time multitasking at flow chokepoints rather than focusing on a single value-adding task. Order volumes swing hard through peak season, and adding stations meant adding floor space and people.
Orders release from storage onto the system, parcels buffer on the surface until a station frees up, and each parcel is routed to the right station at the right time. Finished work returns to the system and flows onward — reducing 72 stations to 8 on a smaller footprint.
The difference in day-to-day operations at our warehouse is that employees have gotten a renewed sense of purpose. They see us investing in new technology. There’s less physical strain, a better working environment, and reduced sick leave
